The premise of the Alton Creatives Emporium set out by the council is to test creative business concepts. And part of the founding members’ vision is to make the space accessible for other creatives while this is in progress. As such there are 3 ways you can work with the Emporium.
Rent a % of the space;
Method 1: Short-term leases
There are 3 sets of shelving available in the Emporium for guest creatives.
5 shelf unit in the window, available to rent for one month at a time at £50 per shelf, or at just £115 per month for all 5 shelves. As a VIP lister, you and can be featured on the Emporium site for the duration of rental. A fabulous way to grab the eye of shoppers and diners in the bustling high traffic area of Market Square.
One 5 shelf unit is inside the Emporium, available to rent by shelf, week to week.
All shelves are available at weekly rate of £15, or £45 if booked for the month.
Each creative, regardless of space taken will be provided with;
– feature on socials
– advice and support in merchandising, planning and marketing

You can submit a booking request below. As you can imagine, it is important to differentiate the offering within the shop, with no competing offerings and a balance of price positions, therefore it will not always be possible to accommodate everyone, but we hope to accommodate as many local creatives as we can and will do our very best!
Method 2: Become a Stockist
Two of our existing businesses, as well as making their own wares, list complementary brands within their shop offering. Please get in touch directly if you would like to retail your products within these shops. (commission based retail listing)
